Official Championship Dates: July 3-6, 2011
The Competition starts on the 3rd of July and ends on the 6th of July with the finals and a farewell dinner. I. PARTICIPATION, ACCREDITATION AND REGISTRATION
All participants attending the AMSC are requested to have a valid passport and, if required, a visa. Applications for visa should be made as soon as possible to the Embassy of Nepal in the country in which the participants reside. The invitation letter from NSRA should suffice, but if additional information is requested, please contact us or email: nepalsquash@live.com or info@nepalsquash.com for your visa questions.
II. REGISTRATION
Will commence from the time you submit the below mentioned information to suja@yetitravels.com. For security purposes, participants will receive AMSC badges, which will also serve as a ground pass. Championship badges must be worn at all times within the NSRA premises. On arrival, participants will present themselves at the registration desk at the hotel where they will be issued with an AMSC badge. III. VISA
Kindly visit the following website for information for obtaining a visa to Nepal:-

Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain a visa for Nepal from a Nepalese Embassy in their home country. However one can receive visa on arrival at more cost.
IV. TICKETING ARRANGEMENTS
Please contact suja@yetitravels.com regarding your itinerary and travel arrangements. Arrival of all flights should be at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal For reconfirmation of return flights- please contact suja@yetitravels.com
V. BANKING FACILITIES
Currency exchange bureaus can be found at the TIA terminal. Most hotels also provide facilities at the reception. Nepalese commercial banks at Kathmandu is open between 09.00 - 15.00 hrs. In Nepal, the official currency is the Rupee. Exchange rates are: USD 1 dollar = Rs.75 approx. Participants are advised to have the local currency ready to pay for the taxi and other miscellaneous. Changing other currencies into Nrs. while already in Kathmandu is not advisable as you will need to go to the bank to change currencies. Banks are closed on Saturdays. ATM machines in some convenient stores are available to obtain cash from credit cards.
V. ACCOMODATION
We will assist hotel booking on a confirmed basis. Participants are requested to contact suja@yetitravels.com Participants will be notified accordingly where credit card details are required.
VII. AIRPORT TRANSFER
Participants are advised to pre-inform about their arrival dates (suja@yetitravels.com) for airport pickup. Otherwise it is advised to take taxis from the airport to their respective hotels.
VIII. SECURITY
Visitors are advised to be security conscious and exercise caution while in Nepal. Petty crimes and street muggings can occur during the day or night. Particularly, avoid walking around at night. Use reputable taxis from the hotels. Do not carry large sums of money when shopping and do not wear expensive jewelry etc. While walking on the streets please guard your briefcases, handbags.
IX. HEALTH
A Yellow Fever Vaccination certificate is mandatory for all visitors to Nepal (some countries are exempted, please confirm with a clinic near you.)
Vaccinations should be taken at least 10 days prior to departure.
Food in major hotels and restaurants of the city can be consumed without reservation. It is advisable to drink only boiled or mineral water, which is readily available.

XI. Communication Services
International telephone facilities will be open during the week from. Pay phones for use with phone cards can be purchased from the service provider located within the NSRA premises.
International phone cards are available for sale at most convenient stores and airports. Mobile phone can be rented at the airport. To apply for a mobile phone rental service, you will need an identification card and credit cards.
XII. Catering Facilities
Food stalls are available within the premises during the championship.
XIII. Weather
The temperatures at the time of the championship will be from 25-29.5 C degrees daytime and 16-18 C degrees at night.
XIV. Electricity/ Plugs
The standard electricity supply 220V and the plug type is Type A ( two-pin parallel prong plug ). However the participants who need the adapter are advised to obtain on before you arrive at the hotel for your urgent needs for your laptop etc.
